Lancashire Peat Partnership

The Lancashire Peat Partnership brings together all relevant organisations who have an interest in peatland areas in Lancashire. We aim to promote the importance of peatland restoration, work together to deliver restoration projects, secure funding, and to share knowledge, information and research findings.

Our other partners

Yorkshire Peat Partnership is restoring peatlands in the Yorkshire Dales, North York Moors and northern parts of the South Pennines.
The North Pennines AONB Partnership’s peatland restoration programme aims to conserve and enhance the internationally important peatland resource within the North Pennines AONB and UNESCO Global Geopark.
Since 2003 the Moors for the Future Partnership has developed and delivered a landscape scale programme of blanket bog restoration, conserving and repairing the moors of the Peak District and South Pennines.
The Northumberland Peat Partnership aims to bring stakeholders together to collectively facilitate positive management and restoration of peatland habitats focussing on the Partnership Area; the area of Northumberland north of the A69, outside the North Pennines AONB.
The Cumbria Peat Partnership (CPP) is a practical delivery group, led by Cumbria Wildlife Trust and made up of 14 organisations from across Cumbria.
